Party Time

Charles Luck did an awesome event called Elements. Think fashion week, but for stone products. A few of us went to the Richmond opening night party and it was incredible. I’ve put up a few photos from the event and a few more of some of the things we designed for it. I think the Richmond opening night had over 300 people attend. Make sure you click to see all the photos.

Cannonballs

The Richmond Show happened over the weekend. As usual, it was a blast, great food, strong drinks, tons of awesome work and lots of friends. We didn’t do so bad in the design category, either. You can check out the official results at the Richmond Show website. And for your immediate enjoyment, here is one of our cannonballs(and don’t ask why the 2007 show happens in 2008):

Price of Beer

I’ve been reading some stuff in the news lately about how much the cost of hops is going up. The higher hop prices climb, the higher beer prices are going to start getting. Our Work beer buddy is not happy about this. Don’t let his smile fool you, deep down inside he is really, really mad about this. So get out there and enjoy a cold one while you can still afford it.

Making it easier

In an effort to make this blog easier for everyone, we are switching the format up a little. So that’s why you’ll notice all the new posts have the photos on the main page so you don’t have to click as much. But make sure if you see “Read More” you click on it. There’s probably more pictures.

Time To Play Catch-up – Part II

SnagAJob.com is one of our clients.

We’ve love working with them because of their entrepreneurial spirit and who they are as individuals.

But just as important, it’s the product we like.

SnagAJob is the only site dedicated to connecting hourly workers to hourly jobs.

Hourly workers constitute 72 million Americans or 60% of the total workforce.

If you think about your first job, it’s likely it was hourly. 90% of us have held an hourly job at some point. These are the jobs we do to pay the bills, to pay the rent, to save for tuition, or to get something on the resume.
