Sun Cut Glasses

A buddy of mine has a laser and it’s pretty cool. This is also pretty cool. Markus Kayser set up a very basic cutting system similar to a laser cutter. The machine is solar powered and uses direct sunlight focused through a ball lens to produce shapes in different substrates. I like the imperfection that results from it being an analogue system.
