We came across a pretty cool collection of pages from Al Cooper’s World of Logotypes: Trademark Encyclopedia, Vol. 3 on Flickr. I really like that the images are sorted alphabetically. It makes referencing letters as shapes much easier this way. I pulled a few and the rest can be found at Flickr
We are big fans of Back to the Future here at the Labs and we couldn’t be more excited about the Nike Mag limited release. 1500 pairs of the iconic shoe began auctioning last Thursday to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. You can check it out at http://nikemag.ebay.com/
Found this little gem over at ThisisColossal.com. I first heard of ferrofluids a little over a year ago and knew about some practical mechanical applications for them. Seeing their motion through a medium like soap bubbles presents quite a stunning visual.
This is absolutely one of the coolest things I have ever seen a human do. It never hurts to have some beautiful scenery while you’re flying through the air at 100mph. Check out the section around 1:15.
