So I’ve posted about Yves Rossy, the Jetman, then I referenced my friend Kitt as being almost a jetman. Clearly I like machines and devices that take you off the ground. So I also think this thing below is awesome.
Saw this on deviantART. Nice use of Facebook, but in printed form.
This is one of those things that makes me start feeling old. Our perpetual intern, Chris, is finally graduating. So that means he probably isn’t going to be our intern anymore because he’s probably going to get a real job. This is just really turning my world upside down. He’s also releasing an album to coincide with his graduation. Peep that below:
Oh, and if you like Chris’ stuff, maybe you should hit him up about giving him a job. I’m sure he’d appreciate it.
We did an invite for a party recently and at the party a band called The Mummies played. Our invite ended up being rolled up mummy wrap that had the info printed on it over and over again. Anyway, someone at the party ended up making a tie out of the invite. Thought that was pretty cool.
So that cannonball floating in mercury was kind of irrelevant, but here’s a nice picture of the Richmond Show Annual and our awards that we got this year. 18 awards in total, and because the Richmond Ad Club gives you 2 cannonballs for each award, we ended up with 36 in total. For the picture, I figured 1 from each would be good. Plus we don’t have all 36 of them because we sent some off to some of the other people we worked with on some of the projects.
The Sun is running a story about an artist who painted his entire house, inside and out, blue. It’s apparently a “barmy experiment.” Barmy sounds like some kind of crazy English word that means crazy. Or maybe crazy sounds like some kind of barmy American word that means barmy. Either way, I think it’s a soulful shade of blue. More at The Sun.
I thought we were running a pretty tight ship over here as far as worker safety is concerned. But this video really makes me so much more aware of all the terrible things that can happen in the work place if you’re not paying attention and being safe.
Two blog posts of something that Jen sent me in a matter of 30 minutes? Can you tell them I’m going through all my emails and cleaning them out from the last couple of weeks? Well either way, this is some pretty cool stuff that Jen sent me. Not sure where she saw it first, but I’m putting it here.
Jen sent me this a couple weeks ago. Not a spot that WORK did, but it’s damn cool.
The Richmond Show was over the weekend. We got a few cannonballs, but more on that later. Right now, a video of a cannonball floating in mercury.
